The BAPI BA/H200-RD is a room-mount relative humidity transmitter designed for building automation and environmental monitoring applications. It delivers 2% accuracy with a selectable output of 0 to 5 VDC or 4 to 20 mA, making it compatible with a wide range of building automation system controllers and data acquisition equipment. An onboard LCD provides a local readout of current humidity conditions without the need for a handheld meter or laptop access. Powered by 24 VAC or 24 VDC, the unit fits standard low-voltage control wiring found in most commercial and institutional installations. The polycarbonate housing is rated NEMA 1 for indoor use.
This transmitter is well suited for humidity monitoring and control in applications where maintaining stable relative humidity is critical. Typical installations include humidification and dehumidification systems, clean rooms, hospitals, laboratories, museums, schools, office buildings, data centers, and ESD anti-static control environments. HVAC controls technicians and building automation specialists are the primary installers. The room-mount form factor positions the sensor directly in the occupied space for representative zone-level readings.
Designed for use with building automation controllers, DDC systems, and data acquisition equipment that accept 0 to 5 VDC or 4 to 20 mA analog inputs. Suitable for commercial and institutional HVAC control systems requiring room-level humidity sensing in humidification, dehumidification, and process monitoring applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC controls technician or building automation specialist familiar with low-voltage analog sensor wiring. De-energize the control circuit before making wiring connections and verify supply voltage matches the transmitter input rating before applying power. Mount the unit on an interior wall at a representative location away from supply air diffusers, exterior walls, and direct heat sources to ensure accurate zone readings. Follow applicable local codes and manufacturer guidelines for sensor placement and wiring practices.
