The BAPI BA/H200-D-BBX is a duct-mount relative humidity transmitter designed for continuous monitoring in HVAC air distribution systems. It delivers 2% accuracy with an interchangeable output selectable between 0 to 5 VDC and 4 to 20 mA, making it compatible with a wide range of building automation system controllers and data acquisition equipment. The unit operates on 24 VAC or 24 VDC power and ships in a BAPI Box Crossover (BBX) enclosure rated IP10 and NEMA 1. Licensed HVAC controls technicians and building automation specialists are the primary installers of this device.
The BA/H200-D-BBX is suited for duct-mounted humidity sensing in both commercial and institutional HVAC applications. Typical deployment scenarios include supply air, discharge air, and return air ducts where accurate humidity feedback drives humidification or dehumidification control sequences. It is also used in economizer control, clean room monitoring, data center environmental management, process control loops, and facilities such as schools, hospitals, and office buildings where precise humidity control is critical to occupant comfort and equipment protection.
Designed for duct installation in commercial and institutional HVAC systems requiring analog humidity feedback. Compatible with BAS controllers and DDC panels that accept 0 to 5 VDC or 4 to 20 mA analog input signals powered at 24 VAC or 24 VDC.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC controls technicians or building automation contractors. De-energize the air handling unit and associated control circuits before inserting the duct probe and wiring the transmitter. Follow NEC low-voltage wiring requirements for Class 2 circuits when routing signal and power conductors. Verify output mode selection matches the analog input type configured at the controller before commissioning.
