The BAPI BA/H200-D-BB is a duct-mount humidity transmitter designed for continuous relative humidity sensing in commercial and industrial HVAC systems. It delivers a selectable analog output of 0 to 5 VDC or 4 to 20 mA, allowing it to integrate with a wide range of building automation system controllers and data acquisition equipment. The sensor achieves plus or minus 2 percent accuracy and operates on 24 VAC or 24 VDC power. The enclosure is a BAPI-Box housing constructed from poly material, sized for standard duct insertion. Licensed HVAC controls technicians and building automation specialists are the primary installers of this device.
This transmitter is suited for duct-mounted humidity measurement in both supply and return air streams. Typical applications include humidification and dehumidification control, economizer monitoring, discharge and return air sensing, clean rooms, data centers, process control environments, schools, hospitals, and office buildings. The interchangeable output configuration makes it adaptable to existing control wiring without additional signal conditioning hardware. It is commonly specified on projects where a single transmitter model must match multiple controller input types across a facility.

Installation is typically performed by a licensed HVAC controls technician or building automation specialist. De-energize the duct system and confirm 24 VAC or 24 VDC power is off at the panel before wiring. Select the desired output signal (0 to 5 VDC or 4 to 20 mA) per the controller input specification before final wiring connections. Follow NEC guidelines for low-voltage control wiring and the equipment manufacturer instructions for duct penetration and sensor insertion depth.
