The BAPI BA/10K-2-H300-D-BB2 is a combination humidity and temperature transmitter designed for duct-mount installation in commercial and industrial HVAC systems. It uses a 10K Type 2 thermistor for temperature sensing and delivers humidity readings at 3 percent accuracy. The output is field-selectable between 0 to 5 VDC and 4 to 20 mA, allowing integration with a wide range of building automation and control systems. Power requirements are 24 VAC or 24 VDC. The unit is housed in a BAPI Box 2 polycarbonate enclosure rated NEMA 4 and IP66 for reliable performance in demanding environments. Licensed HVAC controls technicians and building automation specialists are the typical installers.
This transmitter is suited for duct applications across a broad range of facilities and system functions including humidification, dehumidification, supply air, discharge air, return air, and economizer control. It is also specified for clean rooms, data centers, process control environments, schools, hospitals, and office buildings where accurate humidity and temperature monitoring in the airstream is required. The duct-mount configuration places the sensing element directly in the airflow for responsive, representative readings.
Designed for duct-mount installation in commercial and industrial HVAC systems requiring combined humidity and temperature sensing. Compatible with building automation systems and controllers that accept 0 to 5 VDC or 4 to 20 mA analog inputs. Suitable for humidification, dehumidification, supply, discharge, return air, economizer, clean room, data center, process control, school, hospital, and office building applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC controls technician or building automation specialist familiar with low-voltage sensing circuits. Power down the air handling unit and de-energize the control panel before wiring. Select the desired output signal (0 to 5 VDC or 4 to 20 mA) prior to installation per the manufacturer wiring instructions. Follow NEC requirements for low-voltage control wiring and ensure the duct penetration is properly sealed around the probe to prevent air leakage.
