The BANDO BX95 is a classic cogged V-belt in the BX section, designed for power transmission applications across industrial, HVAC, and agricultural equipment. The cogged construction reduces heat buildup and increases flexibility compared to standard wrapped belts, extending service life under continuous-duty conditions. It measures 98 inches in outside length and 21/32 inch (0.66 inch) in width, with a thickness of 13/32 inch (0.41 inch). Built from rubber with heat-resistant and oil-resistant properties, the BX95 is suitable for environments where belt degradation from elevated temperatures or incidental oil exposure is a concern. HVAC technicians, equipment mechanics, and industrial maintenance professionals are the primary installers.
The BX95 fits drive systems requiring a BX-section cogged belt with a 98-inch outside length and 95-inch internal length. Typical applications include belt-driven blower assemblies, compressor drives, pump drives, and general industrial power transmission setups. The cogged profile allows the belt to run on smaller-diameter sheaves without excessive flexing stress, making it practical for compact drive configurations found in rooftop HVAC units, commercial air handlers, and light industrial machinery.

Confirm sheave groove profile and center-to-center distance against the 98-inch outside length and 95-inch internal length before installation.
Belt replacement should be performed by a qualified technician after de-energizing and locking out all power to the drive system per applicable LOTO procedures. Never pry or roll a V-belt onto a sheave under tension — always reduce center distance to allow slack installation, then re-tension according to the equipment manufacturer's deflection specifications. Inspect sheave grooves for wear, misalignment, and debris before installing the replacement belt. When replacing multiple belts on a matched-belt drive, replace the entire set to avoid uneven load sharing.
