The BANDO bx128 is a cogged V-belt engineered for high-efficiency power transmission in demanding drive applications. Built with precision-molded raw edge cogged construction, it transfers power more efficiently than standard wrapped belts, enabling use with smaller sheave sizes without sacrificing load capacity. The bias-cut cover stock provides lateral stability across the belt width while maintaining axial flexibility under load. BANPRENE cushion stock preserves cord integrity and ensures uniform load distribution throughout the belt's service life. Meets RMA standards for oil resistance, heat resistance, and static conductivity.
The bx128 is suited for industrial and commercial drive systems where heat buildup and energy loss are concerns. Typical applications include HVAC blower drives, agricultural equipment, compressors, and general power transmission setups requiring a BX-section cogged belt. Installation should be performed by a qualified technician. Disconnect and lock out all power to the drive system before removing or installing belts. Never pry a belt over sheave flanges; always release drive tension by adjusting the motor mount before fitting the belt. After installation, set tension according to the drive manufacturer's specification and re-check tension after the first few hours of operation.
