The BALDWIN FILTERS BF957 is a spin-on fuel filter designed for heavy-duty automotive and equipment fuel systems. It measures 3.688 inches in outside diameter and 5.438 inches in overall length, with a 1-inch thread size for straightforward installation. Rated to handle pressures up to 60,000 psi, this filter is built for demanding service conditions where consistent fuel cleanliness is critical. It ships with an ES24-D O-ring and G381-A inner gasket included. Licensed technicians and fleet service professionals install this filter as a direct OEM-style replacement across a wide range of diesel and gasoline-powered equipment platforms.
The BF957 is suited for use in agricultural, construction, fleet, and commercial vehicle applications where a spin-on fuel filter is specified. Its heavy-duty construction and high-pressure rating make it appropriate for both on-highway trucks and off-highway equipment. The filter targets particle removal from the fuel supply line to protect downstream fuel system components including injectors and pumps. Service intervals and specific application fit should be confirmed against OEM maintenance schedules.
Direct replacement for ACDelco TP629F, AllisChalmers FF945, Case BM59678, Caterpillar 9Y4402, Cummins 158172, Donaldson P779382, Fleetguard FF5578, Ford C6TZ9155B, Fram P3528AFP, GMC 902136, Hastings FF945, International BM68635, Komatsu 6221716302, Mobil1 MCC231US, Purolator PIL15, and Wix CW1109MP.
Installation is performed by licensed automotive or diesel technicians following OEM service procedures. Depressurize and drain the fuel system before removal of the spent filter to prevent fuel spillage and fire hazard. Apply a light coat of clean fuel to the new filter gasket and O-ring before threading on by hand, then snug with a filter wrench per the filter base specification. Verify for leaks during initial system pressurization before returning the equipment to service.
