The BALAX 40213-000 is a spiral flute tap designed for blind hole threading in a 3/4-16 UNF thread size. Built from M42 powdered metal with a bright/uncoated finish, it runs a 45-degree helix angle and four right-hand flutes in a fast flute style. The modified bottoming chamfer allows threading close to the bottom of a blind hole. With an H3 thread limit and a 3B class of fit, this tap holds tight tolerances for precision threaded connections.
