The BALAX 30065-000 is a spiral point tap designed to cut 10-24 UNC internal threads in through-hole applications. The plug chamfer provides a gradual lead-in over several threads, making it suitable for most general-purpose through-hole tapping work. With 3 flutes and a right-hand thread direction, the tap pushes chips forward ahead of the cutting action rather than packing them behind, reducing the risk of tap breakage in standard machine tapping setups.
