The BALAX 30063-000 is a spiral point tap designed for through-hole threading in a wide range of metals and alloys. Built from M42 powdered metal high-speed steel (PM-HSS) in a bright, uncoated finish, this tap delivers consistent thread cutting performance across production and repair applications. It is ground to a 3B class of fit with an H3 thread limit, producing 10-24 UNC threads. The plug chamfer (5-6 threads of lead) makes it well suited for through-hole applications where the tap can advance freely.
