The BAHCO BAHLTS-100-E is a construction-grade long tape measure built for professional layout work on job sites where standard 25-foot tapes fall short. The blade runs 328 feet (100 meters) and carries dual SAE and metric graduations, giving field crews the flexibility to work in either measurement system without switching tools. At 5/8 inch wide, the fiberglass-reinforced blade resists kinking and holds a readable line across long pulls. A double nylon coating protects the blade surface from abrasion, moisture, and the daily abuse of concrete, framing, and civil work environments.
This tape is suited for residential and commercial construction, civil engineering layout, landscaping, surveying support, and any application where extended linear measurement is required. Electricians running conduit runs across large facilities, plumbers laying out long drain slopes, HVAC crews sizing duct runs through large buildings, and general contractors establishing building lines will all find the 328-foot range practical. The dual-scale blade eliminates the need for conversion when coordinating with metric drawings or international project documentation.
Designed as a general-purpose long tape measure for professional construction, civil layout, and trade use wherever extended linear measurement in SAE or metric units is required.
Long tapes should be walked out straight on a flat surface and never pulled around corners or over sharp edges, as kinking or blade creasing will affect accuracy. After use, reel the blade in slowly and evenly to avoid blade overlap that can cause permanent bends. Clean the blade before rewinding on muddy or concrete-dusted sites to preserve the nylon coating and graduation legibility. Store the tape loosely wound in a dry location away from direct sunlight to extend blade life.
