The B38;K LLC 102-703 is a heavy duty boiler drain valve designed for residential and light commercial hydronic heating systems. It features a 1/2 inch male external pipe thread inlet and a 3/4 inch hose thread outlet, allowing direct connection to a standard garden hose for controlled draining. The internal solder connection option provides an alternative copper-pipe installation method. A neoprene seal washer and stuffing box construction contain the stem packing and minimize leakage during operation. A large cast iron handle provides firm grip and reliable shutoff. Pipe threads comply with ANSI B1.20.1 and hose threads comply with ANSI B1.20.7. Licensed plumbers and HVAC service technicians are the primary installers of this fitting.
