Axis Communications 5900-271 Outdoor Housing 24VAC

Product Description

The AXIS COMMUNICATIONS 5900-271 is an outdoor housing unit designed to protect compatible surveillance or imaging equipment in exterior installation environments. Operating on 24 volts AC power, this enclosure provides a weather-resistant solution for mounting and securing components that require protection from the elements. It is typically installed by security technicians, low-voltage integrators, or electricians working on commercial or residential surveillance infrastructure. The housing is sold as a single unit and is designed for direct field installation in outdoor settings where environmental exposure is a primary concern.

This outdoor housing is suited for applications where cameras or related equipment must be deployed in unconditioned exterior environments. Typical installation scenarios include building perimeters, parking structures, entryways, and other outdoor locations requiring durable enclosure solutions. The 24 volts AC operating specification aligns with standard low-voltage surveillance system architectures commonly found in both commercial and light industrial installations.
