Awid SV-UHF-0-0 Uhf Side View Mirror Rfid Tag

Product Description

The AWID SV-UHF-0-0 is a UHF RFID tag designed for mounting on vehicle side view mirrors. It serves as a credential in access control systems, transmitting a unique identifier to a compatible UHF reader when a vehicle approaches a controlled entry point. The tag is built for exterior vehicle use, where reliable long-range read performance is essential. Access control technicians and security integrators install this type of tag as part of automated vehicle identification setups at parking facilities, gated communities, commercial yards, and secured campuses.

This tag is suited for applications where hands-free vehicle access is required without driver interaction. It mounts to the side view mirror housing, keeping the credential consistently positioned for optimal reader detection. Typical deployments include parking garages, fleet yards, corporate campuses, and any controlled-entry environment that uses UHF-based vehicle identification. Installation is performed by licensed access control or low-voltage security technicians familiar with AWID or compatible UHF reader infrastructure.
