Avycon AVN-PO-SPTEXT-1T2 Poe Splitter Extender 1 in 2 Out

Product Description

The AVYCON AVN-PO-SPTEXT-1T2 is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) splitter and extender designed to take a single PoE input and split it into two PoE outputs. Built with a waterproof housing, this unit is suited for outdoor and harsh-environment network installations. It extends PoE signal distribution without requiring an additional switch or injector at each endpoint, making it a practical solution for surveillance, access control, and other IP device deployments. Licensed network technicians and security system installers are the primary trades working with this type of device.

This splitter extender is intended for use in structured cabling installations where a single PoE source must feed two downstream powered devices such as IP cameras, access points, or VoIP endpoints. The waterproof construction makes it appropriate for exterior mounting, rooftop runs, or any installation where moisture exposure is a concern. It is sold as a single unit and falls within the network devices category.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage or network cabling technician familiar with structured cabling standards and local codes. Power down or disconnect the upstream PoE switch port before making or breaking connections at the splitter. Ensure all outdoor connections are properly sealed and that the unit is mounted to prevent water ingress at cable entry points. Follow TIA-568 cabling standards and any applicable local low-voltage wiring codes.
