The AVYCON AVN-PI-IJT30G is a single-port gigabit Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector rated at up to 30 watts. It adds PoE capability to an existing non-PoE switch or router port, delivering both data and DC power over a single Ethernet cable to a connected device. Security technicians and low-voltage installers use this injector to power IP cameras, access points, VoIP phones, and similar network devices without running a separate power drop. The gigabit data path ensures full 1000 Mbps throughput is preserved while power is delivered simultaneously.
This injector is suited for both residential and light commercial installations where a single powered port is needed at a specific location. It is commonly deployed in security camera runs, wireless access point installs, and door-access controller wiring where the nearest switch does not support PoE natively. Installation requires only a standard Ethernet patch cable between the injector data-in port, the upstream switch, and the powered device.
Designed as a standard midspan PoE injector compatible with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE-capable network devices drawing up to 30 watts, such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones.
Installation is performed by low-voltage or network technicians. Power down or unplug the injector before connecting or disconnecting Ethernet cables to the powered device. Verify the connected device draws no more than 30 watts to avoid overloading the injector. Follow applicable low-voltage wiring codes and the device manufacturer guidelines for cable run lengths, which typically must not exceed 328 feet (100 meters) per Ethernet standards.
