Avycon AVC-VNN81FLT/2.8 8MP 4K Ip Vandal Dome 2.8mm

Product Description

The AVYCON AVC-VNN81FLT/2.8 is an 8-megapixel (4K) IP vandal dome camera equipped with a 2.8mm fixed lens. Designed for network-based video surveillance installations, it delivers high-resolution 4K imaging in a dome form factor built to resist tampering and physical impact. The fixed 2.8mm lens provides a wide field of view suited to areas where broad scene coverage is the priority. Licensed security integrators and low-voltage installation technicians are the primary trades that specify and install this unit in both new construction and retrofit surveillance projects.

The AVC-VNN81FLT/2.8 is suited for indoor and outdoor IP camera deployments where vandal resistance is required. Typical installation scenarios include retail environments, parking structures, building lobbies, and perimeter coverage applications. The wide-angle 2.8mm focal length makes it a practical choice for corridors, entry points, and open areas where capturing maximum scene width matters. It connects to standard IP network infrastructure and is managed through an NVR or VMS platform.

Key Features

• 8MP (4K) resolution for high-detail image capture
• 2.8mm fixed wide-angle lens for broad scene coverage
• Vandal-resistant dome housing to withstand physical impact and tampering
• IP network connectivity compatible with standard NVR and VMS platforms
• Dome form factor suitable for ceiling-mount installations

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style network IP dome camera for use with standard IP-based NVR systems and video management software platforms that support ONVIF or RTSP protocols.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or security systems technician familiar with IP camera deployment and local building codes. Power down the network switch port or PoE injector before making cable connections. Ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound and appropriate conduit or cable management is used per local codes. Do not over-torque the dome housing fasteners, as this can compromise the vandal-resistant seal.
