Avycon AVC-PNN81X25LW 8MP Ip Ptz Camera 25x Zoom

Product Description

The AVYCON AVC-PNN81X25LW is an 8-megapixel IP PTZ camera designed for professional surveillance installations requiring high-resolution imaging and long-range optical zoom. Running H.265 compression, this camera delivers sharp 8MP video while reducing storage and bandwidth demands compared to older compression standards. The 25x optical zoom allows operators to identify subjects at significant distances without sacrificing image clarity. It is primarily installed by licensed security integrators and low-voltage technicians in commercial and institutional environments where wide-area coverage is required from a single camera position.

This PTZ camera fits installations where a fixed camera cannot cover the required field of view, such as parking lots, building perimeters, large open facilities, and campuses. The integrated IR illumination extends usability into low-light and zero-light conditions, making it suitable for 24-hour monitoring applications. Network-based deployment over IP infrastructure allows integration into existing NVR and VMS platforms that support H.265 decoding.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or security systems technician familiar with IP camera deployment and network configuration. Power down or disconnect the network port before servicing the camera mount or wiring connections. Mounting hardware and cable management should comply with applicable local building codes and the NEC for low-voltage wiring. Verify network switch port PoE wattage meets the camera draw before connecting.
