The AVERY AVE5066 is a box of 1500 red file folder labels designed for 1/3 cut tab sizing. These acid-free labels use a permanent adhesive that resists lift and curl, keeping labels flat and secure on file folder tabs. TrueBlock technology fully opacifies the label surface, covering underlying text or graphics so the label reads clean. Sheets are certified jam-free and smudge-free, making them suitable for high-volume printing in office, records management, and filing environments. Compatible with both inkjet and laser printers, the labels feed cleanly through standard desktop and workgroup printers without special handling.
These labels are used in office filing systems, records rooms, medical file management, and legal document organization. The 1/3 cut format fits standard file folder tabs used in lateral and vertical filing cabinets. TrueBlock coverage allows previously used containers, folders, tubes, or boxes to be relabeled without bleed-through of old markings. Avery provides print templates compatible with Microsoft Word and other common software, reducing setup time for bulk label runs.
Designed for use with standard 1/3 cut file folder tabs and compatible with inkjet and laser desktop printers. Avery print templates are available for Microsoft Word and other common software programs.
Load label sheets into the printer tray according to the printer manufacturer's feed direction guidelines before printing. Peel and apply labels to clean, dry folder tabs or surfaces for best adhesion. When relabeling used folders or containers, ensure the surface is free of dust or residue so TrueBlock coverage performs correctly. No special tools are required for application.
