Avery AVE12201 Marking Tags White Cardstock Box of 1000

Product Description

The AVERY AVE12201 is a pre-strung marking tag designed for high-volume labeling in storage, distribution, retail, and inventory management environments. Each tag is made from white cardstock with a smooth writing surface that accepts pen, pencil, and most markers cleanly. The attached white cotton polyester twine comes pre-knotted, allowing fast attachment and removal without adhesive or additional hardware. Tags measure 2-3/4 inches by 1-11/16 inches, providing adequate writing area for item descriptions, pricing, part numbers, or lot codes. Each box contains 1,000 tags, making this a practical bulk supply for ongoing labeling needs.

These marking tags are suited for general-purpose use across trade, warehouse, and supply environments. Common applications include tagging inventory for storage or shipment, labeling parts bins, marking items for sale or auction, and organizing stock in distribution centers. The twine loop eliminates the need for adhesive labels on surfaces that should not be marked permanently. The cardstock construction holds up to normal handling during sorting and transit without tearing at the string attachment point.

Installation Notes

Loop the pre-knotted twine around the item or through a designated tag hole and pull snug. No tools are required for attachment. For surfaces sensitive to scuffing, verify that the cardstock edge does not contact a finished surface during handling. Store unused tags in a dry location to prevent cardstock from absorbing moisture, which can affect writability.
