The ATLANTIC WATERGARDENS 74222 is a full-flow swing-style check valve engineered specifically for water feature and pond skimmer installations. It mounts directly to the pump inside a pond skimmer to maintain water level in the biological filter and keep beneficial bacteria hydrated between pump cycles. The valve body is grey PVC and measures 5.625 inches long by 3.5 inches wide by 10 inches high. Single unions above and below the valve allow rapid removal of both the valve and the pump for servicing, maintenance, or winterization without disturbing the surrounding plumbing.
