The ATG 34-1743/M is a size medium cut-resistant work glove built for trade professionals who need reliable hand protection against cuts, punctures, and abrasion. The shell is constructed from a 15-gauge blend of Kevlar, nylon, and polyester, delivering ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A4 and ANSI Abrasion Resistance Level 3. The palm and fingers are coated with a nitrile MicroFoam dip that improves grip on oily, wet, or dry surfaces. At 0.17 pounds per pair, the glove is lightweight enough for detailed work without sacrificing protection. Sold as a paired, unisex glove suitable for medium male hands or small female hands.
These gloves are intended for use in trades and industrial environments where cut and abrasion hazards are present. Typical applications include handling sharp sheet metal, HVAC ductwork, electrical conduit, pipe fitting, and general mechanical work. The seamless Kevlar, nylon, and polyester lining reduces pressure points during extended wear. The slip-on knit cuff keeps the glove secure without restricting wrist movement. The EN 388 rating of 4331D confirms performance under European cut, tear, puncture, and abrasion standards in addition to ANSI/ISEA compliance.
Designed as a general-purpose cut-resistant work glove for trade professionals in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical service applications where ANSI A4 cut protection is specified.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, holes, or coating separation that could compromise protection. Nitrile-coated gloves are not rated as a chemical barrier and should not be used as a substitute for chemical-resistant PPE. Replace gloves when the coating shows visible wear or when cut protection cannot be verified. Follow applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138 hand protection selection requirements for the specific hazard environment.
