The ASPEN DE30A3G-175R-422 is a cased, multi-position evaporator coil rated at 2.5 tons for use in residential split-system air conditioning and heat pump applications. Built on the DE Series platform, the coil uses rifled aluminum tubing and enhanced aluminum fins to promote efficient heat transfer. The aluminum cabinet measures 17.5 inches wide, 16 inches tall, and 21.5 inches deep. Each unit is air pressure tested at 500 psi, leak tested with helium, and then sealed and nitrogen-pressurized for field integrity. Refrigerant and plumbing connections are field-reversible from left to right. A licensed HVAC technician installs and commissions this coil as part of a split system.
The DE30A3G-175R-422 is designed for upflow, horizontal right, and horizontal left configurations without field modification. Downflow installation is supported using the included field kit. The coil ships with an externally mounted flowrator body and a Schrader valve for hiss-testing. It is ETL listed for use with R-22 and R-410A when the proper metering device is installed, and it is AHRI certifiable with all brands of air conditioning and heat pump systems. Typical install scenarios include residential forced-air systems paired with gas furnaces or air handlers.
AHRI certifiable with all brands of air conditioning and heat pump systems. ETL listed for use with both R-22 and R-410A refrigerants when the proper metering device is installed.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the system manufacturer guidelines. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power and shut off refrigerant flow before beginning coil installation or service. Verify the correct metering device is in place for the refrigerant type being used, as this coil requires a field-supplied or system-matched metering device to operate properly. Downflow orientation requires the included field kit to be installed before the coil is placed in service.
