Product Description

The ASPEN CA30A3G-130R-003 is an uncased evaporator coil rated at 30000 BTU/h, designed for use in residential and light-commercial split-system air conditioners and heat pumps. The coil features rifled copper tubing and enhanced aluminum fins for efficient heat transfer across a 3-row coil circuit. It is compatible with R-410A refrigerant and ships nitrogen-pressurized and sealed after immersion testing at 500 psi. Measuring 13 inches wide, 15.5 inches tall, and 19.375 inches deep, this coil fits inside a wide range of existing air handler cabinets without requiring a factory casing.

This coil is suited for upflow and downflow installations in forced-air systems. Upflow orientation requires no field modification. Downflow applications require a plate kit, which is included. The externally mounted flow rater body includes a Schrader valve for hiss-testing during installation. Left- or right-hand refrigerant and plumbing connections allow flexible positioning in the cabinet. Liquid line connection is 3/8 inch ODS and suction line is 3/4 inch ODS for 1.5- to 3-ton applications. HVAC technicians installing this coil in new or replacement applications will find it AHRI certifiable with all brands of air conditioner and heat pump systems.

Installation Notes
