The ASHLAND WATER GROUP WPF-3680 is a 2-inch by 36-inch well point designed for driven-well installations in residential and light commercial groundwater applications. Constructed from 80-gauge stainless steel gauze screen, this well point balances driveability with effective sand control and long-term corrosion resistance. The stainless steel screen filters out fine particulates while allowing adequate water flow into the well system. Licensed well drillers and experienced water-system contractors rely on this type of well point for shallow to mid-depth water table installations where driving by hand or mechanical means is the standard method.
This well point is suited for residential water supply systems where a driven or jetted shallow well is the preferred installation method. It is appropriate for sandy or loose soil formations where sand infiltration into the water column is a primary concern. The 2-inch pipe size accommodates standard 2-inch well casing and drop pipe, making it compatible with common residential pump configurations.
