Product Description

The ASHLAND WATER GROUP SPC-200 is a 2-inch plastic inline sewage check valve designed to prevent backflow in residential and light commercial sump and sewage pump discharge systems. Installed on the discharge side of a sewage or sump pump, this valve allows flow in only one direction, stopping water and effluent from flowing back into the basin when the pump cycles off. By preventing backflow, the SPC-200 also reduces short-cycling, which extends pump service life. It fits standard 2-inch discharge pipe configurations and is constructed from plastic for corrosion resistance in wet, waste-water environments.
