The ASHLAND WATER GROUP M2002-4L is a 200 PSI pressure gauge designed for plumbing, HVAC, and fluid system applications where reliable pressure monitoring is required. The gauge features a 1/4 inch bottom-mount connection, a stainless steel case, and a glass front lens. It is suited for installation on water lines, boiler systems, pump discharge points, and similar pressurized piping circuits. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this type of gauge during system commissioning or as a direct replacement for worn or failed gauges in residential and light commercial settings.
The M2002-4L is a bottom-mount style gauge, making it compatible with standard tee fittings and gauge ports oriented vertically in a piping run. Its 200 PSI range covers typical domestic water supply pressure, hydronic heating circuits, and low-pressure industrial fluid lines. The stainless steel case offers corrosion resistance in wet or humid mechanical room environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for plumbing, HVAC hydronic, and fluid system piping with a standard 1/4 inch NPT bottom-mount gauge port.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing any existing gauge or fitting. Use thread sealant tape or pipe dope rated for the fluid being monitored on the 1/4 inch NPT threads. Do not over-tighten the gauge connection, as this can crack the gauge socket or distort the bourdon tube mechanism.
