It uses a capillary stem type with a 10-foot capillary line, allowing remote sensing of temperature at a distance from the switch body. The operating temperature range spans 150 to 260 degrees F, making it suitable for monitoring hot fluid systems, HVAC hydronic circuits, and process piping. This temperature switch is applicable in residential and commercial hydronic systems, industrial process lines, and equipment protection circuits where a single fixed-setpoint trip is required. The capillary design allows the sensing bulb to be placed directly in the medium being monitored while the switch body is mounted in a dry, accessible location. Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the capillary line during routing, as damage to the capillary will affect switch accuracy. Ensure the sensing bulb is fully immersed in the monitored medium and that all conduit entries are sealed to maintain the watertight rating.
