The ASHCROFT 95485XLL is an analog pressure gauge built for accurate pressure measurement across HVAC, plumbing, and industrial service applications. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 60 psi range, making it suitable for monitoring low-to-medium pressure systems. The stainless steel case and stainless steel wetted parts provide resistance to corrosion and moisture, extending service life in demanding environments. It connects via a 1/4-inch lower-mount threaded fitting, positioning the port at the bottom of the gauge body. Accuracy is rated at 3-2-3 percent of scale, conforming to standard dial gauge tolerance conventions. No liquid filler is used in this model.
This gauge is well suited for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, hydronic heating loops, water supply lines, air compressor outlets, and general plumbing pressure monitoring. The lower-mount configuration is common in panel-mounted and pipe-tee installations where the gauge face must be read from the front. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance personnel routinely specify this style of gauge for system commissioning, pressure testing, and ongoing process monitoring.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems using a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount port and requiring a 0 to 60 psi range with a 2.5-inch dial face.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off system pressure and relieve residual pressure before removing an existing gauge or installing a new one. Use appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape on the 1/4-inch NPT threads and tighten to fitting manufacturer specifications using a wrench on the gauge hex, not the dial body. Verify the pressure rating of the gauge is appropriate for the maximum working pressure of the system before placing it in service.
