The ASHCROFT 95427XLL is an analog industrial pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and process piping applications. It features a 2.5-inch dial face with a 0 to 300 psi range and delivers 1 percent of scale accuracy. The stainless steel case is rated to IP54 and IP65/NEMA 4, making it suitable for wet or dusty environments. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face. The gauge connects via a 1/4-inch MNPT center back mount fitting and ships dry with no liquid fill. Licensed trades and mechanical contractors are the primary installers.
This gauge is appropriate for residential and light commercial mechanical systems where a compact, reliable pressure reading is required at a panel, manifold, or pipe tee. Typical applications include boiler system monitoring, refrigeration circuit pressure checks, compressed air distribution, and water supply line monitoring. The center back mount configuration suits flush-panel or bulkhead installations where a front-serviceable, inline connection is preferred. The bronze wetted parts are compatible with water, oil, and many common refrigerants and gases encountered in trade service work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install industrial pressure gauge for mechanical systems requiring a 1/4-inch MNPT center back mount connection and a 0 to 300 psi analog readout.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or mechanical contractors in accordance with applicable local codes and IPC or IFGC guidelines. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the MNPT fitting threads and hand-tighten before final tightening with a wrench — do not overtighten, as this can crack the case or distort the socket. Verify the system pressure range does not exceed the gauge maximum rating before returning the system to service.
