The ASHCROFT 95090 is an analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring across a wide range of industrial, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system applications. It features a 2.5 inch dial with a pressure range of -30 to 0 to 300 Hg, allowing it to read both vacuum and positive pressure. The stainless steel case provides durability in demanding environments. With 1 percent of scale accuracy, it delivers reliable readings for service technicians and installers who need a dependable field instrument. The lower mount, 1/4 inch NPT connection makes installation straightforward on standard pipe fittings.
This gauge is suited for residential and commercial applications where pressure monitoring is required on HVAC systems, hydronic heating loops, water supply lines, compressed air systems, and similar mechanical systems. The dry, non-liquid-filled design keeps the instrument lightweight and easy to read in typical indoor and sheltered outdoor service conditions. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors commonly install this type of gauge during system commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge suitable for standard 1/4 inch NPT lower mount gauge ports on HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and mechanical piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician, plumber, or qualified mechanical contractor. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Use an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape on the NPT threads to prevent leaks, and hand-tighten before using a wrench to snug the fitting without over-torquing. Verify the system pressure range is within the gauge rating before returning the system to service.
