The ASHCROFT 95083 is an analog industrial pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure in a range of commercial and industrial applications. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 30 psi range and is accurate to 1 percent of full scale. The stainless steel case is rated IP54 and IP65/NEMA 4, making it suitable for wet or washdown environments. The Bourdon tube is constructed from 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors typically install this gauge on low-pressure systems where a reliable, readable pressure indication is required.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC, and process piping applications where pressures up to 30 psi must be monitored. The lower-mount 1/4-inch NPT connection allows direct installation into standard pipe fittings, manifolds, and tee connections. Its dry, non-liquid-filled construction simplifies installation and keeps the gauge lightweight for use in space-constrained service panels or equipment rooms. The 2.5-inch dial provides clear readability without requiring a magnified lens or a larger gauge body.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable IPC and local code requirements. Depressurize and isolate the system before threading the gauge into the fitting. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads and tighten to hand-tight plus a moderate wrench turn — do not overtighten, as this can stress the socket or crack the case. Verify zero reading before returning the system to operating pressure.
