The 1/4-inch NPT center back mount connection allows direct in-line installation into threaded ports on pipes, manifolds, and equipment panels. Accuracy is rated at 1 percent of full scale, providing reliable readings for service and commissioning work. This gauge is not liquid-filled, making it suitable for clean-air and dry-service pressure points.

Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut down system pressure and depressurize the line before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads before installation and tighten to a snug fit using an appropriate wrench — do not overtighten, as stainless gauge cases can crack under excessive torque. Verify the installed gauge range is appropriate for the system's normal operating pressure before returning the system to service.
