The ASHCROFT 94905 is a liquid-filled industrial pressure gauge designed for accurate, reliable pressure monitoring in demanding service environments. The gauge features a 2.5-inch analog dial with a 0 to 100 psi range and 1 percent of scale accuracy. The liquid-filled case dampens vibration and protects the internal Bourdon tube, extending service life in systems with pulsating pressure. The stainless steel case and polycarbonate lens hold ratings of IP54 and IP65/NEMA 4, making this gauge suitable for wet or washdown locations. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters install this type of gauge as part of routine system instrumentation work.
The ASHCROFT 94905 is suited for industrial and commercial applications where process pressure must be continuously monitored at a glance. The center back mount configuration is common in panel-mounted and manifold installations. The 1/4-inch NPT connection threads directly into standard fittings found on HVAC systems, plumbing lines, compressors, pumps, and hydraulic circuits. Its stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for mildly corrosive media and outdoor installations where moisture exposure is expected.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation industrial pressure gauge for systems using a 1/4-inch NPT center back mount connection with a 0 to 100 psi measurement requirement.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and the IFGC or IPC as appropriate. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads before installation, and tighten by wrench on the hex fitting only — do not use the case body as a lever. Avoid mounting in locations subject to extreme mechanical vibration beyond what liquid filling can absorb.
