The ASHCROFT 94904 is a liquid-filled industrial pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in demanding service environments. It features a 2.5-inch analog dial with a 0 to 60 psi range and delivers 1 percent of scale accuracy. The center back mount configuration uses a 1/4-inch NPT threaded connection for direct inline or panel installation. The stainless steel case, 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube, and polycarbonate lens make this gauge suitable for wet, corrosive, or vibration-prone applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals install this gauge on pressurized systems requiring reliable, at-a-glance pressure indication. The liquid fill dampens needle flutter caused by pressure spikes or continuous vibration, extending service life and maintaining readability.
This gauge is suited for residential and commercial HVAC systems, plumbing supply lines, compressed air systems, hydraulic circuits, and general industrial process lines operating within the 0 to 60 psi range. The center back mount design positions the dial face forward when the gauge is threaded directly into a pipe fitting, panel, or manifold. Its certifications cover a wide range of regulatory requirements, making it appropriate for use in multiple regions and applications requiring compliance documentation. The liquid-filled construction is particularly valuable in pump discharge, compressor outlet, and other high-vibration service points.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems with a 1/4-inch NPT center back mount port operating within a 0 to 60 psi service range.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and IPC or IFGC guidelines. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before threading the gauge into place. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to the NPT threads as required by the application, and hand-tighten before using a wrench to avoid over-torquing the gauge body. Do not exceed the rated maximum pressure of 60 psi.
