The ASHCROFT 94890XLL is an analog pressure gauge built for accurate, reliable pressure measurement in demanding service environments. The gauge features a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 160 psi range and delivers 1% of scale accuracy, making it suitable for applications where precise readings are required. The stainless steel case and stainless steel wetted parts provide corrosion resistance and extended service life in wet or chemically aggressive conditions. It mounts via a 1/4-inch center back connection and ships dry with no liquid fill. Typically installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or mechanical contractors during system commissioning or maintenance.
This gauge is appropriate for use in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, compressed air lines, and general industrial fluid systems where a dry-case, back-mount gauge is specified. The center back mount configuration is common in panel installations and manifold setups where a flush, space-efficient gauge position is needed. The all-stainless wetted parts construction suits water, steam, and many mild chemical service applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install gauge for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic, and compressed air systems requiring a 2.5-inch dial, 1/4-inch center back mount pressure gauge in the 0 to 160 psi range.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable IPC and IFGC requirements. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing the existing gauge or making new connections. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the 1/4-inch NPT connection and tighten to hand-snug plus a controlled turn using a wrench on the gauge body, not the dial. Do not overtighten, and verify there are no leaks before returning the system to service.
