It features a 2.5-inch dial face with a 0 to 100 psi range and delivers 1 percent of scale accuracy across that range. The stainless steel case provides corrosion resistance in demanding service environments. The gauge mounts via a 1/4-inch NPT center back connection, making it straightforward to install inline or on a manifold port. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters install this type of gauge for system commissioning, pressure testing, and ongoing operational monitoring.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a compact, reliable pressure indicator is needed. Typical installations include boiler systems, chilled water loops, compressed air lines, water supply lines, and hydronic heating systems. The dry (non-liquid-filled) construction keeps the design simple and weight low, appropriate for stable environments without heavy vibration or pulsation. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician following applicable local codes and ASME B40.100 gauge installation guidelines. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads before hand-tightening, then snug with a wrench — do not overtighten, as this can crack the gauge socket or distort threads. For systems with significant pressure pulsation, consider adding a snubber or isolator valve at the gauge port.
