The ASHCROFT 94888 is an analog industrial pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in mechanical and process systems. The gauge features a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 60 psi range and delivers 1 percent of full-scale accuracy. The stainless steel case, graded 304 and 316, provides corrosion resistance in demanding service environments. A 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube handles the pressure-sensing element. The polycarbonate lens protects the dial face from impact and environmental exposure. The dry (non-liquid-filled) design keeps maintenance straightforward. Installation uses a standard 0.25-inch NPT center back mount connection. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters install this gauge on pressurized lines, manifolds, and equipment panels.
This pressure gauge is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC, and industrial process applications where a reliable, corrosion-resistant pressure indication is required. The center back mount configuration fits panel-mounted or bulkhead installations where a clean front-facing dial presentation is needed. The 0 to 60 psi range covers common low-pressure water, air, and gas service applications. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and standards. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Use thread sealant rated for the service media and pressure range — apply to male threads only and avoid over-tightening, which can crack the gauge socket. Verify that the system operating pressure falls within the 0 to 60 psi range before returning the line to service.
