The ASHCROFT 94608XLL is an analog industrial pressure gauge designed for direct-mount pressure measurement in process and mechanical systems. It features a 3.5-inch dial with a 0 to 600 psi range and delivers 1% of scale accuracy, making it suitable for applications where reliable pressure indication is required without electronic instrumentation. The stainless steel case is rated to IP54 and IP65/NEMA 4 for use in wet or dusty environments. The gauge mounts from the lower port using a 1/4-inch MNPT connection, the standard configuration for most industrial and HVAC instrument ports. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance trades install this type of gauge.
This gauge is suited for residential and commercial HVAC systems, plumbing test rigs, compressed air lines, hydraulic systems, and general industrial process monitoring where a non-liquid-filled analog gauge is appropriate. The lower-mount configuration allows installation directly into a tee, manifold, or instrumentation port on a pipeline or pressure vessel. The 3.5-inch dial size provides clear readability at close service distances. No liquid fill means the gauge operates across standard ambient temperature ranges without concern for fill fluid compatibility.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation analog pressure gauge for industrial, HVAC, plumbing, and process systems requiring a 1/4-inch MNPT lower-mount connection and a 0 to 600 psi measurement range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician following applicable codes such as ASME B40.100 for pressure gauges and local plumbing or mechanical codes. Isolate and depressurize the system fully before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Use appropriate thread sealant on the MNPT threads and tighten to the fitting manufacturer's recommended procedure using a wrench on the hex fitting, not on the gauge case. Do not exceed the maximum rated pressure of 600 psi.
