The ASHCROFT 94590XLL is a dry analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure measurement in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping applications. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 600 psi range and delivers 1% of scale accuracy for reliable readings in demanding service environments. The stainless steel case provides corrosion resistance, while bronze wetted parts suit a broad range of compatible media. Mounting is via a lower 1/4-inch threaded connection, positioning the gauge inline or on a manifold fitting. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters typically spec this gauge for system commissioning, leak testing, and ongoing pressure monitoring.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial systems where a compact, non-liquid-filled pressure gauge is required. The lower-mount configuration makes it well-matched for panel cutouts, manifold headers, and tee fittings where a straight stem connection is needed. The dry construction eliminates liquid fill concerns in freeze-prone or vibration-sensitive environments where a filled gauge would not be appropriate. The analog dial provides immediate visual indication without the need for external power or instrumentation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems requiring a 1/4-inch lower-mount dry gauge with a 0 to 600 psi range and a 2.5-inch dial.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes. Always depressurize and isolate the system before connecting or removing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per standard practice, being careful not to overtighten and crack the gauge socket. Do not exceed the rated maximum pressure of 600 psi during operation or testing.
