The ASHCROFT 94589XLL is an analog industrial pressure gauge designed for continuous pressure monitoring in demanding trade and industrial applications. The gauge features a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 400 psi range and delivers 1% of scale accuracy, making it suitable for systems where reliable readings matter. The stainless steel case is rated to IP54 and IP65/NEMA 4, providing solid protection against dust and moisture ingress. Bronze wetted parts and a 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube resist corrosion in common fluid and gas service. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face. This gauge is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial mechanics across a range of piping and equipment applications.
This gauge is suited for residential and commercial mechanical systems where lower-mount installation is required. The 1/4-inch MNPT lower-mount connection threads directly into standard pipe fittings, manifolds, and pressure taps. It is a dry (no-fill) gauge, appropriate for non-pulsating or lightly pulsating service without the need for glycerin or silicone fill. Typical applications include water supply lines, compressed air systems, hydraulic circuits, and HVAC hydronic loops where pressures fall within the 0 to 400 psi range.
Designed as a direct-install industrial pressure gauge for systems requiring a 1/4-inch MNPT lower-mount analog gauge rated to 400 psi. Part of the ASHCROFT Series 1009 product line.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or industrial mechanic familiar with local plumbing and mechanical codes. Isolate and depressurize the system fully before removing any existing gauge or fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the MNPT threads per the system fluid compatibility requirements. Do not overtighten the threaded connection; use a wrench on the hex fitting only, not the gauge case or dial.
