The ASHCROFT 94584XLL is an analog industrial pressure gauge designed to measure pressures from 0 to 150 psi in plumbing, HVAC, and general process applications. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a 1/4-inch MNPT lower-mount connection, making it a straightforward drop-in for standard threaded pipe fittings. The stainless steel case carries a 304/316 dual-grade rating, and the lens is polycarbonate for impact resistance. Accuracy is rated at 1 percent of scale, which meets the demands of most service and commissioning work. The Bourdon tube is 316 stainless steel, and wetted parts are bronze. The gauge is dry (no liquid fill).
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial installations where a compact, reliable pressure-reading instrument is needed on water supply lines, compressed air systems, hydronic heating loops, or refrigeration process piping. The lower-mount MNPT connection allows direct installation into a tee, valve body, or manifold without additional adapters in most cases. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters are the typical installers. It carries CRN, IP54, IP65/NEMA 4, PED, and RoHS certifications, making it appropriate for a range of regulated environments.

Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician. Before installing or removing the gauge, isolate and depressurize the system completely and confirm the line is at zero pressure. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads per local code requirements — hand-tighten first, then use a wrench on the gauge hex only, not the dial body. Do not overtighten, as this can distort the socket and affect accuracy.
