The ASHCROFT 94579XLL is an analog industrial pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure in a wide range of commercial and industrial fluid and gas applications. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 60 psi range and delivers 1% of scale accuracy, making it suitable for applications where reliable pressure indication is required. The gauge uses a 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube with bronze wetted parts and is housed in a 304/316 stainless steel case with a polycarbonate lens. It mounts via a 1/4-inch MNPT lower connection and ships in a dry, non-liquid-filled configuration. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals commonly install this gauge.
This gauge is suited for residential and commercial installations involving water, air, gas, and compatible fluid systems where corrosion-resistant wetted materials are required. The lower-mount MNPT connection makes it a direct fit for panel-mount or inline installations where the pipe connection exits from the bottom of the gauge port. Its stainless steel case and polycarbonate lens hold up in wet or wash-down environments certified to IP54 and IP65/NEMA 4 ratings. Install and service by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified industrial maintenance technician in accordance with applicable local codes and system requirements. Isolate and depressurize the system fully before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the MNPT threads as required by the system medium and local code. Do not overtighten the gauge connection, as this can damage the Bourdon tube or crack the case.
