The ASHCROFT 94481 is a liquid-filled industrial pressure gauge designed for accurate, reliable pressure monitoring in demanding service environments. It features a 2.5-inch analog dial with a 0 to 600 psi range and reads to 1 percent of scale accuracy. The gauge uses a 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube for wetted-parts corrosion resistance, and the case is constructed from 304/316 stainless steel. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face. Liquid filling dampens needle vibration and reduces wear on the movement, making this gauge well-suited for high-cycle or pulsating pressure applications. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance professionals.
The 94481 is intended for industrial process, HVAC, plumbing, and fluid-system applications where a compact, lower-mount gauge is required. The lower-mount (bottom-entry) NPT connection allows direct in-line installation on pipes, manifolds, pressure taps, and test ports. The 2.5-inch dial size is appropriate for panel-mount or pipe-mount installations where close-range reading is practical. Liquid filling makes this gauge especially effective on systems with pressure spikes, vibration, or pulsation.
Designed as an OEM-style or replacement industrial pressure gauge for systems requiring a lower-mount, 1/4-inch NPT, 2.5-inch dial gauge rated to 600 psi. Part of the ASHCROFT Series 1009 gauge line.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or instrumentation technician. Depressurize and isolate the system fully before removing any existing gauge or fitting the new gauge into the pressure tap. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the NPT threads per the applicable piping code — avoid over-tightening, which can damage the socket or Bourdon tube. Verify the system operating pressure falls within the gauge range before returning the system to service.
