It features a 2.5-inch analog dial with a 0 to 160 psi range and delivers 1 percent of scale accuracy across that span. The liquid-filled stainless steel case dampens vibration and pointer flutter, making it suitable for systems with pulsating pressure or mechanical shock. A lower-mount 1/4-inch NPT connection keeps installation straightforward on threaded ports. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial mechanics are the primary installers of this gauge type.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial systems where a reliable, easy-to-read analog pressure indicator is required at a lower-mount threaded port. Typical applications include boiler supply and return lines, chiller circuits, compressed air systems, water service piping, and refrigerant-side test manifold ports where a permanent gauge is preferred. The 0 to 160 psi range covers most low- to medium-pressure hydronic and compressed-air circuits encountered in trade work. Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or industrial mechanics. Shut down and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per the applicable plumbing or mechanical code, and do not overtighten, as stainless steel fittings can gall. Verify the system operating pressure falls within the gauge range before returning the system to service.
