The ASHCROFT 94476 is a liquid-filled industrial pressure gauge designed for accurate, reliable pressure monitoring in demanding service environments. It features a 2.5-inch analog dial with a 0 to 100 psi range and delivers 1% of scale accuracy. The lower-mount 1/4-inch NPT connection allows direct inline installation on pipes, manifolds, and process equipment. The stainless steel case (304/316 grade) and polycarbonate lens resist corrosion, vibration, and moisture ingress. Liquid fill dampens pointer flutter in high-vibration or pulsating-flow applications, keeping readings stable and extending gauge service life. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial service professionals are the primary installers.
This gauge suits a wide range of commercial and industrial applications where 0 to 100 psi process monitoring is required, including compressed air systems, water supply lines, hydraulic circuits, and HVAC refrigerant or chilled-water piping. The lower-mount NPT configuration is compatible with standard pipe tees, manifold ports, and pressure snubbers. It carries CRN, IP54, IP65/NEMA 4, PED, and RoHS listings, making it appropriate for installations subject to Canadian pressure vessel registration requirements or European pressure equipment directives. The Series 1009 platform is a recognized standard for industrial gauge applications across multiple trade disciplines.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation gauge for industrial, commercial, and mechanical systems requiring a 2.5-inch dial, 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount pressure gauge rated 0 to 100 psi.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable local codes and the ASME B40.100 standard for pressure gauges. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before removing any existing gauge or making new connections. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the service media to the NPT threads; do not over-tighten, as stainless fittings are susceptible to galling. For pulsating or high-vibration service, install a snubber or needle valve upstream of the gauge to protect the Bourdon tube and extend service life.
