The ASHCROFT 94474 is a liquid-filled industrial pressure gauge designed for continuous pressure monitoring in demanding service environments. It features a 2.5-inch analog dial with a 0 to 30 psi range and delivers 1% of full-scale accuracy. The lower-mount, 1/4-inch NPT connection makes it a direct-fit choice for inline installations on pipes, manifolds, and service ports. The stainless steel case and polycarbonate lens protect the internals against moisture, vibration, and light chemical exposure. Liquid filling dampens needle flutter in high-vibration or pulsating-flow systems, extending service life and improving readability on the job.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, compressed air lines, refrigeration service manifolds, and industrial process piping where low-range pressure measurement is required. The lower-mount configuration fits standard panel-mount and pipe-mount installations where the connection point is at the bottom of the gauge. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance mechanics are the primary installers. The 2.5-inch dial size provides clear readability in confined mechanical spaces.
Designed as an OEM-style and aftermarket replacement industrial pressure gauge for lower-mount, 1/4-inch NPT plumbing, HVAC hydronic, compressed air, and light process piping applications requiring a 0 to 30 psi analog dial instrument.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified industrial mechanic. Isolate and depressurize the system fully before removing an existing gauge or threading in the new one. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads in accordance with IPC and IFGC guidelines — do not overtighten, as this can crack the gauge socket. On liquid-filled gauges, verify the fill plug is intact and the dial is oriented correctly before returning the system to service.
