The ASHCROFT 94341 is an analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in a wide range of industrial, mechanical, and trade applications. It features a 3.5-inch dial with a 0 to 300 psi range and delivers 1 percent of scale accuracy, making it reliable for process monitoring, system diagnostics, and pressure verification. The gauge is housed in a stainless steel case for durability in demanding environments. It mounts at the lower port with a 1/4-inch NPT male connection and is not liquid filled, making it well suited for dry-service installations. Licensed trades including plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters are the primary installers.
This gauge is used in residential and commercial settings wherever a reliable, dry-service pressure reading is required. Common applications include water systems, compressed air lines, hydraulic circuits, and HVAC refrigerant-side monitoring where local code permits. The lower-mount configuration positions the dial face upward for easy reading when the gauge is installed in a vertical pipe or manifold. The 1/4-inch NPT thread is a standard connection found throughout plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install pressure gauge for systems using a standard 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount port in dry-service piping, HVAC, compressed air, or water applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and ASME B40.100 gauge installation guidelines. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing an existing gauge or installing a new one. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per local code, and avoid overtightening, which can damage the gauge socket. Do not exceed the stated maximum pressure rating during service or testing.
