The ASHCROFT 94241 is an analog industrial pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure across a wide range of commercial and industrial applications. It features a 3.5-inch dial, a pressure range of 0 to 2000 psi, and a lower-mount 1/4-inch NPT connection. Accuracy is rated at 1 percent of full scale, which meets the requirements of most general-purpose process and utility monitoring tasks. The case is constructed from 304/316 stainless steel, and the Bourdon tube is 316 stainless steel, making it resistant to corrosion in demanding environments. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face without adding significant weight to the assembly.
This gauge is suited for industrial and commercial installations where accurate, reliable pressure indication is required. Typical applications include hydraulic systems, pneumatic lines, water and fluid process lines, and HVAC plant-room equipment. The lower-mount configuration positions the process connection at the 6 o'clock position on the gauge body, which is standard for panel or pipe-mounted installations where the gauge reads upright. It is not liquid-filled, so it is best suited for non-pulsating or low-vibration service conditions.
The ASHCROFT 94241 belongs to the Ashcroft 1009 Series and is designed as a direct-mount industrial pressure gauge for any 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount port in systems operating within the 0 to 2000 psi range.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or industrial instrumentation technicians. Isolate and depressurize the system before removing any existing gauge or installing this unit. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the service fluid to the 1/4-inch NPT threads — do not use PTFE tape in a way that enters the port and risks contaminating the Bourdon tube. For best accuracy and longest service life, avoid installations in high-vibration or severe pulsation service without an appropriate snubber or dampener fitting.
