The ASHCROFT 94231XLL is an industrial analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure measurement in demanding service environments. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 1500 psi range and delivers 1% of scale accuracy. The Bourdon tube is 316 stainless steel, the case is 304/316 stainless steel, and all wetted parts are stainless steel, making this gauge suitable for corrosive media and harsh conditions. It mounts from the lower port using a 1/4-inch MNPT male connection and ships dry with no liquid fill. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors install this gauge as part of pressure monitoring assemblies on process lines, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems.
This gauge is sized for applications where a compact 2.5-inch dial provides sufficient readability in panel, pipe, or manifold installations. The stainless steel wetted parts suit water, steam, oil, gas, and mild chemical service. The lower-mount configuration fits standard direct-mount installations on threaded pipe tees, manifolds, and test ports. No liquid fill means straightforward installation without concern for fluid leakage from the case. Typical installations include mechanical rooms, boiler rooms, chiller piping, compressed air systems, and industrial process lines.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified mechanical technician. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before removing any existing gauge or fittings. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the MNPT threads and torque by hand to snug fit before using a wrench — do not overtighten, as this can damage the gauge socket. Verify pressure range is appropriate for the system before returning the line to service.
